Mr. Hill has 35 years of experience as a project manager and owners representative for the Massachusetts Audubon Society. As project manager for the Society, he has been responsible for projects from concept to operations of varying complexity and up to $6 million budgets. Responsibilities included: planning and design of new construction and renovations for visitor/educational centers, staff residences, maintenance facilities and a residential camp; contract negotiation and administration; budget development and control and; operational follow-up to ensure routine maintenance and projection of investment.
 
For over twenty years, David has worked to advance green or sustainable design in the planning, design and construction process. His most recent project, the Boston Nature Center, included a LEED certifiable visitor center with geothermal heat and a photovoltaic array, composting toilets, and the reuse of a former State hospital land and buildings.
 
David has extensive experience with staff relations, team building, volunteer involvement, Board relations and contact with funders within the nonprofit field.
